I thought coming into this class I was very computer savvy and knowledgeable about what is available on the internet, but I have the feeling I was very very wrong. Today alone I have learned two totally new and exciting ways to use the internet.
The first was the knowledge that you can save your bookmarks on a website and access them from any computer anywhere in the world. This was really exciting because emailing myself links I found on different computers has been becoming increasingly bothersome. Also when I have my own classroom I can save the bookmarks that I find at home and access them at the school providing me with quick access to online resources.
Also I discovered a world online tools and applications. One website I found extremely eye opening was go2web20.net. This website has many online tools and applications. There are many online tools and applications that will be useful in the classroom to provide a way for students to learn while they are enjoy these online tools and applications. I especially enjoyed Game Classroom an application that had many different games students could play while exhibiting their knowledge and putting it to practice.
Well I will sign off for now who knows what great discoveries next week will bring.
